Preay Bat Boeng, a Thai drama movie, tells the story of a couple of friends, Preeya and Narin, who move to Thailand to escape the violence and poverty of their home country. Although they are eager to start a new life, they quickly realize that their new home is not what they expected. The violence and poverty are only a small part of the issue, and the real issue is the lack of opportunity. The couple tries to find a way to make their lives better, but they are met with resistance from the other residents of their new home.
